Abigail Hart

Abigail (Abby) Hart is a Project Director in The Nature Conservancy’s Water Program in California, focused on conservation in and around farmlands. Currently, she leads TNC’s work on harnessing changing land and water use in the San Joaquin to restore habitat for upland species while providing multiple benefits to Valley communities. For over 10 years, she has partnered with farmers, nonprofits, universities, and governments in the United States and around the world to shape solutions to the biggest challenges at the interface of agriculture and conservation. Abby received a B.S. in environmental studies from Wheaton College and a M.S. in natural resources from Cornell University.
