Alesandra Nájera
Water Foundation, Program Officer
Alesandra Nájera is a Program Officer at the Water Foundation working on safe drinking water, conservation and efficiency, and Salton Sea/Colorado River initiatives. Prior to joining the Water Foundation, she was a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, where she handled natural resources policy in Washington, D.C. She previously served as a Legislative Assistant to Congressman John Garamendi of California’s 3rd district. She also was a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute STEM Graduate Fellow, where she worked on water and public lands issues in the Office of Secretary at the Department of the Interior. Alesandra received both undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Stanford University, while working as a research fellow at Joint Venture Silicon Valley.
