Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board, Water Resource Control Engineer
Denise Soria is a Water Resource Control Engineer with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Water Board) a regulatory agency under the California Environmental Protection Agency. She has over 10 years of water quality permitting and regulatory experience working on projects such as power plants, domestic wastewater treatment, recycled water, and food processing facilities (including wineries) in the Central Valley. She routinely provides outreach to and works with disadvantaged communities, often providing translation services, and assisting the Environmental Justice Liaison with the Regional Water Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno. In her spare time she likes to travel and dance.
