James Ferro

West Yost Associates, Energy-Climate-Reliability Practice Area Lead

James Ferro trained in law, science and policy, is a solutions-oriented strategist with experience in the academic, private, and public sectors. An effective collaborator and facilitator with strong leadership, management, public speaking, and analytical skills, he designs and implements stewardship initiatives combining science and policy with outreach, education, and advocacy at the water-energy nexus. James earned his Masters of Environmental Law and Policy degree from Vermont Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from University of Southern California. James is the practice area lead for West Yost Associates’ Energy-Climate-Reliability service offering and an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University teaching courses in water and environmental policy.
